I just read the section about Maych where you described painting the frame. I really enjoyed it. I am restoring a 1949 Willys truck. I appreciate all of the advice you gave. It is also nice to read a website about a restoration where the individual writing appears to have an education above the third grade. Your writing style is fun and articulate. Oh, and your truck is beautiful.

You have done a fantastic job of documenting the restoration of your beautiful truck. Last month I purchased a 1967 Chevy Suburban (the first year for the three-doors). Thankfully, I don't need to do a lot of your first two "restoration" activities, so my time (and money) can be directed at the last three activities. Thank you for great web site and all the pictures and history of your truck. Many happy miles to you and Maych.

My husband passed away last yr at 53 yrs old, he was in the process of restoring a 1972 chevy c10. I will now try to do it with a little help from friends or will sell it. I'm amazed at the condition of it, very little rust, 327 double hump heads, it was to be a hot rod. Your truck looks alot like my friends 69. Keep trekking along. I often wonder about old vehicles past lives.

Awesome website! I've always liked GMC trucks, particularly those built between 1967 and 1972. I have an uncle who had a 1970 GMC truck when I was a little boy. It wasn't the prettiest GMC truck I've seen, with its chocolate brown colour, but as trucks go, it was a good truck.
